Business Beyond Borders: Middle East

Following the success of Orgatec, held in Cologne, Germany, in October 2024, we are now focusing on capitalizing on the interest generated during the event. One of our key next steps is to deepen relationships with important contacts in the Middle East, explore new business opportunities, and expand our market presence in the region.

Middle East
Given that much of the business activity in this region is heavily influenced by and connected to the UAE, we are pleased to announce that, following a series of strategic planning sessions and negotiations, we have successfully secured our very first dealer in DubaiChelsea Green. A well-established dealer in the UAE, Chelsea Green is renowned for collaborating with premium brands. By strategically adding RIM to their portfolio, Chelsea Green plays a pivotal role in positioning us as a premium brand partner within the market. This collaboration not only attracts other prestigious dealers but also opens doors for us to engage in high-profile projects and work alongside industry leaders.

Shaping the Future
When entering new regions, various strategies, approaches, and business models can be employed, depending on the market's scope and potential. Reflecting on our past experiences in the Middle East, it has become clear that having a local, direct representative is crucial for establishing a strong dealer base and cultivating close relationships with clients and key projects.

Starting in January 2025, we are excited to welcome Mrs. Kiran Khan to our Global Business Team as Regional Manager based in the UAE. With over 15 years of experience in the furniture industry, Kiran has worked with top brands such as Human Space, Bene, Herman Miller, and Humanscale. In this role, Kiran will be instrumental in driving our regional growth and success.

Kiran will work closely with Mr. Hanish Kapoor, our Business Development Director, who oversees the Middle East region and is also responsible for business development in other regions, including India, Australia, and North America.
