Robin Platt (GB)

Robin Platt is a British industrial designer. He graduated from London College of Furniture in 1989. During his career he worked in London or Milano and won many awards, including Reddot Design Award or Good design.

Having returned to England in 2005 Robin has worked from a studio that is attached to his home in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

He is fascinated by organic shapes and curved, delightfully delicate lines; these he adopts to create his own inimitable style. The world of nature is a rich source of inspiration, with its infinite universe of shapes that are all variations of a few basic elements.
